Cleveland Cavaliers repelled the Golden State Warriors, 96-91, in the first
game at their home court to take a 2-1 lead in their best-of-seven NBA Finals
series.
Lebron
James once again proved to be the go-to guy for Cleveland as he scored 40
points in leading the Cavs to back-to-back wins after the Warriors took the
series opener.
Stephen Curry scored 24 points in the second
half following a dismal 37-point performance of the Warriors in the first half,
but his fellow Warriors came up short in the homestretch
The
Warriors came tugging at the Cavs’ coattails in the last five minutes but were
thwarted each time by timely baskets by the Cavs, including a triple by James. -end-
