Cosplay events, like the recent Asia Pop Comic Con held in Manila, are too far in between for diehard cosplay fans to get their fill of seeing their favorite heroes and villains in flesh and blood.

But for the fans of Star Wars’ Obi Wan Kenobi and (if you’re more inclined towards the Dark Side) and Darth Vader, everyday can be cosplay day just by visiting the Hollywood-themed Movie Stars Café in Pasay City.

This holds true for fanatics of Marvel characters like Spiderman and the Avengers, as well as Captain Jack Sparrow and his hordes of misfits of the Pirates of the Caribbean fame.

Movie Stars Café, located along Sunset Avenue within the Mall of Asia complex, is open for lunch for visitors to enjoy taking their selfies with larger-than-life static characters like Spiderman, Cat Woman, Shrek, King Kong, Terminator and Alien, just to name a few.

But the real fun starts every 7 p.m. for ala carte and buffet diners (the latter at about P1,000 per head all-in) when the musical and dance shows like Lion King, Star Wars, K-Pop, and the Avengers, just to name a few, start rolling.

The food is good, but for the kids and those who are young at heart, the movie wonderland theme and shows of the Movie Stars Café sets it apart from the other higher end restaurants in the area.
